Job_Board_LaunchesJob Board Saves Time and Money in Your Search for Entry-Level Employees

Launched on June 30, the ICP Job Board is being marketed to 18-34 year olds who are seeking their first industrial distribution positions. Your job posting on the ICP Job Board will break through the clutter of the big national job boards and help you find more qualified and interested candidates for entry-level job openings in industrial distribution.

ICP Alliance Partner companies save $50 for each help-wanted ad posted to the ICP Job Board (through September 30, 2012).

Amb_NetworkAmbassadors Network Together, Build Skills and Help the Field

ICP Ambassadors enjoy a few perks, such as belonging to a community of professionals excited about industrial distribution. They also have opportunities to meet face-to-face with potential new employees and discuss ways to build awareness of industrial distribution to a diverse market of 18-34 year-olds who might otherwise be attracted to careers in other more visible fields, such as high finance or healthcare. In the past, Ambassadors have attended job fairs, discussed industrial distribution at technical and community colleges and distributed press releases to their local media with information about the career opportunities available in industrial distribution.

storyGot a Story to Tell?

We know that many of you spread the word about the great career opportunities available in industrial distribution on a regular basis. Others of you are second or third generation industrial distributors. And, some of you are brand new to the field and excited about the options available.

We would love to hear from you and share your story with others. We hope to be able to share your stories with ICP Ambassadors and use them on our new ICP website (coming January 1, 2013) to let the 18 -34 year old target market know about the real opportunities available in industrial distribution. And, you don't even need to write them up. Just e-mail Mary Jawgiel, ICP Program Director at mjawgiel@ptda.org with a few brief words on your story and we can set up a time to talk. You will be able to review before your story is published.
