Story3Vanguard Donor Profile: BDI

Vanguard donors are the companies that pledge or donate early to kick off the next year's fund drive. In military terms, the Vanguard is the force that leads the way into battle--a place of distinguished honor. Each year, ICP depends on the generous donations of companies like yours to keep pushing the message that great careers are available in industrial distribution.

One such loyal supporter is BDI of Cleveland, Ohio. "BDI has historically  been a supporter of ICP because we recognize the need for an independent organization to be working tirelessly on behalf of all industrial distributors to help develop the pipeline of new recruits that can assist our businesses to continued growth and viability in our ever changing marketplace," said Ken Miko, director of strategic

Story6Meet ICP Steering Committee Member Curtis Sprague

The ICP Steering Committee is composed of Alliance Partner association staff and a volunteer member from each of the Alliance Partner associations.

Alliance Partner NAHAD--The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution is represented by NAHAD past president Curtis W. Sprague, Branham Corporation-Mt. Empire Rubber Co., of Johnson, Tennessee.
Curtis said, "I agreed to serve on the ICP Steering Committee representing NAHAD because I feel strongly that our membership will benefit from ICP's efforts to make young adults aware of the varied career paths available to them in the field of industrial distribution. No single organization has the human or financial resources to do this on their own, so supporting ICP is the smart thing to do." NAHAD represents over 450 member companies.

The other Alliance Partner Steering Committee members are Terry Knight (PTDA Foundation) and Glenn R. Knowlton (ISA Educational Foundation). Stay tuned for profiles on these Steering Committee members in future issues of Pathway.
