Article1Using Social Media to Attract "Net Gens"
by Amber Siple, ICP's Millennial Marketing Specialist

Millennials used to be the new kids on the block. Well, I'm sorry to report (or am I?) that we aren't new and exciting anymore. But my younger siblings are. They are Generation Z, or what some are referring to as the Net Gen (Internet generation). So whether it's attracting them as customers or job candidates, you need social media now more than ever.

Article2Discover Talent with ICP's "Find-an-Intern" Directory
Internship programs are beneficial for the student as well as you, the employer. How often do you get the chance to test out candidates on the job before hiring them? Hiring interns can be a great way to build a potential candidate list for current and future job openings. ICP makes it easy to search for the right intern through its "Find-an-Intern" Directory. Simply search for schools near you by city/state/zip and you'll receive the contact information you need. There are currently 54 schools listed and growing!

To help interns find you, be sure to list your company in the "Find-an-Internship" Directory for students looking to secure an internship. If you're not listed, they can't find you! Send over the following information to info@IndustrialCareersPathway.org and we'll get you listed:
  • Your name
  • Company name
  • City/State/Zip
  • Company website
  • Name, email and phone of the person the candidate should contact.
